A little story about my journey ~ Years ago I had those dogs, those special dogs who changed my life, it was my second set of littermates.  Our first set, Mason and Oakley (named after the Knicks of 1994!) were brought home as a surprise gift from my husband.  They were the best dogs ever!  In our younger days of big holiday parties and constant gatherings, they became the mascots of all our friends and family. 

When they were gone and we wanted to do it again we had trouble adopting and we couldn’t understand why!  No rescue or shelter would allow us to adopt two puppies.  Explaining we had experience in owning littermates didn’t matter, everyone turned us away.  Determined we had no choice but to buy two puppies but then learned the hard way why you don’t get littermates.   And they were right.  We were lucky the first time but now burdened with a case of moderate littermate syndrome let’s just say we realized a few years in that we desperately needed help and guidance from professional trainers.
